The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2024–2025 admissions process has been made public by the Directorate of Technical Education in Tamil Nadu. In Tamil Nadu, applicants are encouraged to apply to government and government-aided engineering colleges and universities for first-year B.E./B.TECH degree programs. On May 6, 2024, the TNEA Application Forms go live. Candidates must confirm their eligibility before applying.

Eligibility Conditions for TNEA 2024
Qualifications for Education
Applicants may apply if they passed the HSC exams for grades XI and XII, or if they passed an equivalent exam from a central or state board that is recognized. A minimum average percentage must be met in order to register for Tamilnadu Engineering Admission 2024. This is as stated below:

Age limit: As of the deadline for submitting applications, the board has set a maximum age limit of 25 years. The notification that was released makes no mention of the age relaxation.
Registration Fees: Candidates are required to pay a registration fee after completing the required fields and uploading scanned copies of their documentation. The available online method can be used to pay the fee.

TNEA 2024- Counselling Process
The candidates will be chosen based on a merit list that the board releases, which will also include the ranks of each candidate. The chosen applicant will then be contacted to complete the course preference form. An online counselling process will be implemented after the seats are allocated, taking into account the candidates’ preferences and rank in the merit list. There will be several rounds to the counseling process. Every round will consist of four phases:-
Selecting Filling Proposed Allotment
Verification of Proposed Distribution
reporting to the college or TFC and paying the fees as specified by them
Following that, seats will be allotted to qualified applicants, and original documentation will be scrutinized. After passing each level, candidates must now pay tuition to have their seats confirmed.
