Over 600 tehsil offices have been set up nationwide with the aim of offering convenience and streamlining the survey process. The goal is to encourage more people to join the program by 2024. The primary goal behind creating the Ehsaas program is to offer financial aid to the economically disadvantaged in Pakistan, helping them meet their essential requirements. Starting from January 24, individuals who are already registered in the program can visit their nearest tehsil office to complete their registration. If they are awaiting assistance, it’s crucial to confirm their eligibility first. An official portal has been launched for this purpose, allowing them to check eligibility from the comfort of their homes. To determine eligibility, one simply needs to enter their personal information into the portal and easily find out if they qualify for the program.

To enroll in the program, start by locating your nearest Benazir Income Support Program office. Once there, follow these steps for a smooth registration process:

  1. Bring all required documents with you during your visit.
  2. Obtain an Ehsaas program form.
  3. Fill in all necessary information on the form and submit it to the Benazir’s office.
  4. A representative in the office will conduct a dynamic survey, asking you some questions.
  5. Provide accurate answers, as your qualification for the program depends on these responses.
  6. The questions will cover details about your household and monthly income.
  7. If you meet the program’s criteria, you can proceed with the registration.
  8. Your registration process is complete, and you’ll need to wait for an SMS to 8171.
  9. The SMS will notify you whether you are eligible for financial assistance or not.

Required Document

When completing the registration, ensure you submit the following documents to the representative at the Benazir office:

  1. National Identity Card of the person being registered.
  2. Household information, including the count of family members and household bills.
  3. Monthly income certificate and PMT score list.
  4. Disability certificate for individuals with disabilities.
  5. For widows registering under the program, a copy of their husband’s death certificate is required.
  6. Finally, make sure at least one SIM card is registered under your CNIC.
