The central bank issues Prize Bonds, which are like unique lottery tickets. There will be a draw for 1,500 Prize Bonds soon. These bonds are a part of a State Bank of Pakistan-regulated system, but they don’t pay interest. Every quarter, the National Savings conducts lucky draws to select winners.
Purchasing Prize Bonds is akin to making a loan to the government—in this example, the State Bank of Pakistan. National Savings announces the prize draw schedule, which takes place roughly every three months.

This month’s Lucky Draw No. 97, for the Rs. 1,500 prize bond, will happen in Lahore on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

The Pakistani government announced last year that it would launch “Digital Prize Bonds,” which would have a top prize of Rs40 lakh and be available for Rs1,000. The maximum prize amounts are Rs20 lakh, Rs40 million, and Rs40 million for the Rs500, Rs5,000, and Rs10,000 denominations, respectively.
