CM Announces “Apni Chat Apna Ghar Scheme” in Punjab.

“Apni Chat Apna Ghar Scheme” is announced in Punjab by CM Punjab. As you are aware, building a house these days is becoming increasingly difficult due to current standards and the passage of time. Those in the lower middle class cannot pay the requirements because they are so expensive. The cost of building a house is skyrocketing, and the monthly payments are equally exorbitant.
In response, Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the Apni Chat Apna Ghar Scheme, which offers houses to individuals with reasonable down payments and monthly payments.
Apni Chat Apna Ghar Scheme
The Punjabi government intended to construct one lac homes in each of the province’s six largest cities as part of the Apni Chat Apna Ghar Scheme, a housing project. A house in Pakistan costs 15 lac rupees. The “CM Roshan Gharana Solar Panels Scheme,” another subsidy program by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has also been introduced in Punjab.

Apni Chat Apna Ghar Scheme Subsidy
The Punjabi government has chosen to require a 40% down payment from the recipient in exchange for a 60% subsidy. This implies that in order to receive the benefits of the Apni Chat Apna Ghar Scheme, participants must deposit 40% of the total in the form of manageable installments, with a five-year payback period.

Apni Chat Apna Ghar Cities
As the government of Punjab has decided to build one lac homes in the six major cities of Punjab, here is the list of those cities.
- Lahore
- Multan
- Rawalpindi
- Faisalabad
- Sargodha
- Sialkot
Apni Chat Apna ghar Project Initial Phase
The construction of these one-lac homes will take place in stages. To ensure that everyone has equal chance, around 3000 houses will be created in other cities in addition to the 5000 dwellings being built in Lahore near the Raiwind Road for the first phase.
Eligibility Criteria
People must be from low-income families in the Punjab province with an annual income of less than 60,000 Pakistani rupees in order to be eligible for the Apni Chat Apna Ghar Scheme benefits; otherwise, they will not be able to register. They should also work for the government and not possess a house.
اپنی بات اپنا گھر اسکیم کے فوائد سے فائدہ اٹھانے کے لیے، لوگوں کا تعلق صوبہ پنجاب سے ہونا چاہیے اور ان کا تعلق کم آمدنی والے خاندان سے ہونا چاہیے جس کی آمدنی 60,000 پاکستانی روپے سے کم ہونی چاہیے ورنہ وہ رجسٹرڈ نہیں ہوں گے۔ مزید یہ کہ انہیں سرکاری ملازم ہونا چاہیے اور کسی گھر کا مالک نہیں ہونا چاہیے
Apni Chat Apna ghar Instalment Plan
The sole down payment required of those who are accepted into the Apni Chat Apna Ghar housing plan is 40% of the total cost. The down payment will be 6 lac rupees because the entire cost is 15 lac rupees.
For that reason, a simple and inexpensive instalment plan has been designed for registered individuals. The instalment amount is 26,000 Pakistani rupees, and they must submit it within 5 years in order to finish the 40% down payment.
وہ لوگ جو اپنی چیٹ اپنا گھر ہاؤسنگ اسکیم میں کامیابی کے ساتھ رجسٹرڈ ہوتے ہیں انہیں صرف ڈاؤن پیمنٹ ادا کرنا پڑے گا جو کل لاگت کا 40% ہوگا۔ چونکہ کل لاگت 15 لاکھ روپے ہے اس لیے کم ادائیگی 6 لاکھ روپے ہوگی۔

Apni Chat Apna ghar project’s Vision
The Punjabi government, and chief minister Maryam Nawaz in particular, gave her the assurance that the Apna Ghar Scheme Subsidy installments would be cheap enough for low-income people to afford, and that the houses would be built to the highest standards possible.
She also gave the populace the assurance that the constructed home will be more resilient to changes in the environment and last longer. In addition, sample homes will be built in a span of six weeks to demonstrate the exterior and interior layouts of the residences for the benefit of the recipients.
