Justice Ali Zia Bajwa from Lahore High Court has directed legal protection for the defense of accident accused while simultaneously ordering the arrest of drivers lacking licenses.
اہور ہائیکورٹ کے جسٹس علی ضیاء باجوہ نے ڈیفنس حادثے کے ملزم کی قانونی تحفظ کی درخواست پر سماعت کی. جس کے دوران انہوں نے بغیر لائسنس کے گاڑی چلانے والوں کو گرفتار کرنے کا حکم دیا۔ سماعت کے دوران جسٹس علی ضیاء باجوہ نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ کار حادثہ بہت افسوسناک واقعہ ہے . اگر سڑک پر 100,0000 گاڑیاں ہیں تو صرف 200,000 لائسنس ہیں . جبکہ سی ٹی او لاہور نے بتایا کہ 73 لاکھ گاڑیاں ہیں اوراور ان کے لائسنس 13 لاکھ ہیں.
Justice Ali Zia Bajwa of the Lahore High Court conducted a hearing on the request for legal protection for the defense of the accused in the Defense accident. During the proceedings, he ordered the arrest of those driving without licenses. Justice Ali Zia Bajwa expressed regret, stating that the car accident was a tragic incident, emphasizing the stark difference between the number of vehicles and licenses. The Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Lahore revealed that there are 73 lakh vehicles with 13 lakh licenses. When asked about actions taken against vehicles without licenses after the incident, the CTO mentioned a recent crackdown in the last three days.

Justice Ali Zia Bajwa commented that individuals, when stopped by traffic police, often claim legal connections, stating they are lawyers or judges’ children and have close ties to SSP. He emphasized the need for unbiased actions, highlighting that such incidents commonly occur in affluent areas. Justice Bajwa stressed that no vehicle should be allowed on the road without a license. The court has affirmed its commitment to take stern measures against parents who permit their children to drive.
