How to Apply for NZ Superannuation 2024
You can apply for superannuation 12 weeks before or after turning 65.
You will have 20 days to complete the Superannuation application after contacting Work and Income.
If you have previously worked with Work and Income, you may already be assigned a client number. If you don’t already have one, fill out the online form.
If you were not born in New Zealand, please register or log in to my.msd.govt.nz and complete the application.
The guidelines you receive after submitting may require you to supply extra supporting documentation.
