For example, if your assessment runs from April 7 to May 6, 2024, you’ll miss out on the boost, affecting the payment hitting your account on May 13, 2024.

Starting April 8, 2024, every day is like hitting the reset button on your Universal Credit assessment period. Picture this: each month, your assessment period wraps up a week before payday. May Payments:

• May 14: If processed from April 8 – May 7.
• May 15: If processed from April 9 – May 8.

• June 2: If processed from April 27 – May 26.
• June 3: If processed from April 28 – May 27.
• And so forth, with each day covering a different processing period.
