Vivo X100s, X100s Pro, X100 Ultra prices and release date revealed by new leak

According to reports, the launch price of the entry-level Vivo X100 Ultra variant will be RMB 6,699 ($928). However, the Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro will cost a little less. The group’s Chinese premiere is scheduled for May 14.

Weibo has revealed the prices of the Vivo X100s, Vivo X100s Pro, and Vivo X100 Ultra. The first two have a slightly faster MediaTek SoC and a redesigned chassis, so they won’t cost much more than the models that came before. However, given all the top-tier hardware it includes, like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the Vivo X100 Ultra will understandably cost a pretty penny.

The base model of the Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro, which has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, costs RMB 3,999 ($555) and RMB 4,999 ($693), respectively. The same configuration on a Vivo X100 Ultra will cost you RMB 6,699 ($928). Retailing for RM 8,499 ($1,178) is its maxed-out version with 1 TB of storage, 16 GB of RAM, and satellite connectivity. It’s interesting to note that neither phone has a 24 GB RAM variant, which is strange considering how frequently these phones are seen in the Chinese market.

The trio’s May 13 launch date is currently limited to China; it comes six days after MediaTek’s scheduled unveiling of the Dimensity 9300+. An executive from the company displayed some striking photos taken with the telephoto camera on the Vivo X100 Ultra. Additional features include the “four seasons” AI-driven feature, which purports to be able to manipulate an image’s season using devious software.
